About
I am an Integrative Osteopath, Therapeutic Coach and Educator
For more than twenty years, I’ve supported people through pain, overwhelm, stress, change, and the complex realities of daily life. My work sits where physical health and emotional wellbeing meet, attending to the stories held and expressed through both.
I trained as an osteopath over two decades ago and have spent many years working in clinical practice while also teaching and leading in higher education. I love to learn, and I love to help others learn. I have learned most from the people I’ve worked with – students, colleagues, patients – and especially from tuning in to the wisdom expressed through patients’ bodies.

Along the way I realised that the physiological concepts we commonly consider with regard to musculo-skeletal health – such as stress, capacity, adaptation, compensation, homeostasis, force distribution, flexibility and recovery – all had psychological correlates. My curiosity led me to complete a Master’s degree in Integrative Counselling and Coaching, allowing me to explore more fully how our somatic experiences (ie those that appear to originate in our bodies), our emotional life and the meanings we apply to these experiences are all intricately woven together.
My approach is now fundamentally shaped by this integrative lens, valuing the body not simply as something to be treated but as a place of knowledge, infinite adaptation and potential. I work collaboratively, inviting curiosity and reflection, supporting people to listen more closely to what their body is communicating. By attending to the body in this way – as lived and experienced through the emotional and relational worlds that shape it alongside the practical choices that support movement (both physical and psychological!) – I help people towards greater ease, improved function and meaningful change.
